Theses short 5 minutes videos are based on OpenDayLight toaster example, but by using tea Cups and a Butler to serve the tea. The goal of the videos is to hightlight the key points of how to make a simple application in OpenDayLight following the model, provider, consumer and config bundles.
In the videos, you will go through the process of generating source code from yang files, using the yang modeling language while giving insight as to where to look in the code for a general idea of the inner workings of MD-SAL.
You can follow the example by accessing the git repository https://github.com/sniggel/odl-mdsal-cup-example. Comments have been added within the java code and the yang files to help understand how it works.
